For the
summer of 2005, the Sporteventi supervisors
will be
Pierino Prati,
Gino Maldera,
Francesco
Zagatti and
Filippo Galli.
Francesco Zagatti is one of the great talent scouts
in the history of Italian soccer: he was the one to train
Pierino Prati & co. when they were children. He is still
one of the most important observers for Milan, and holds an
office in the Milan headquarters in Via Turati.
Pierino Prati and Gino Maldera were a part of the extraordinary
Milan team under Nereo Rocco, winner of pennants, champion's
cups and intercontinental cups.
Pierino Prati, the Milan image man, still holds a most
likely unbeatable title: he was the only soccer player in
history to score three times in a Champion's Cup final (Milan-Ajax,
4-1, 1969).
Filippo Galli is the youngest of the company: he was
one of the standard-bearers of the great Milan under Arrigo
Sacchi in the 1980's and 1990's and is on the technical staff
of the Milan youth organization.
